Before You Complete the Referral Form

Trauma Resolution Center (TRC) is a nonprofit organization that provides trauma-focused mental health services to individuals and families in the Miami-Dade County community. Our services are designed to support individuals who have experienced trauma and are seeking support with their mental health and overall well-being.

Our programs are supported in part by Miami-Dade County funding. Because our grant-funded services have specific eligibility requirements, completing this referral form does not guarantee eligibility or enrollment in services. Once your referral is received, our team will review your information and determine which services and options may be appropriate for you.

Grant-Funded Services

For clients who meet the eligibility requirements for our grant-funded programs, therapy services may be provided at no cost to the client. We use a sliding-scale assessment and other eligibility criteria to determine whether a client qualifies for grant-funded services or would need to receive services on a self-pay basis.

Our grant-funded therapy is short-term and trauma-focused rather than long-term therapy. Clients who qualify for grant-funded services may receive up to 25 hours of therapy at no cost. Once those hours have been completed, clients who wish to continue therapy may have the option to continue services on a self-pay basis, depending on availability and clinical appropriateness.

Student Interns

TRC also works with master's-level clinical interns who provide trauma-focused mental health services as part of their professional training. Interns receive ongoing supervision and support from qualified clinical supervisors while providing services to clients.

Additional Support and Resources

In addition to mental health services, TRC offers additional resources and opportunities that may support our clients' well-being. We also have an in-office thrift store where clients can access affordable items if they are experiencing financial hardship or have other basic needs.
